Everything you'd ask before paying

Why a setup fee?
Because we don't dump you into an empty dashboard and walk away. Setup covers a Maqam team member personally adding your properties, connecting your Airbnb calendar, importing your historical bookings, and training your staff over WhatsApp. By the time you're live, the platform is filled with your real data and your team knows how to use it.
What does the 14-day free access cover?
After your demo call, you get full access to Maqam for 14 days — every feature in your chosen plan. No credit card upfront. If you don't see real value in those two weeks, you walk away with no charge. We absorb the setup work because we're confident you'll stay.
What happens if I have more properties later?
You can upgrade plans any time from your dashboard, or just message us on WhatsApp. There's no second setup fee — only the monthly price changes.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Month-to-month, no contracts. Cancel from your dashboard or WhatsApp us. Your data stays exportable for 30 days after cancellation in case you change your mind.
Do prices include tax?
Prices are exclusive of any applicable Sindh / Punjab / Federal sales taxes. We invoice in PKR and include a tax breakdown on every invoice.
Why no self-serve signup?
Because property management is too messy to learn from a help doc. A 30-minute call with our team gets your properties connected, your staff onboarded, and your real-world workflow mapped to Maqam. Most customers say the call alone was worth the setup fee.
Is my booking and guest data safe?
Yes. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Hosted on infrastructure with regular backups. Each staff role only sees the data they need — your housekeeper can never see revenue, your accountant can never see guest PII.
Do you support hotels with 50+ rooms?
Yes — that's exactly what the Business plan is for. We've built Maqam to handle multi-property chains and large guesthouses. Book a demo and we'll walk through your specific setup.
Does Maqam sync with Booking.com?
Not yet. We sync with Airbnb via iCal today. Booking.com sync is on our roadmap — most small hosts on Booking.com can't export iCal feeds, so we're tracking when that changes. In the meantime, our team will show you how to manage both calendars without conflicts during your onboarding call.
